We understand
Wondering if Slab Shower Walls Are Right for You?
"Is this right for my home?"
✓ For most homes, yes.
It’s built like any other shower, same prep, same waterproofing. The one difference is the walls come as large slabs, and those take a real fabricator.
"Who can actually do this?"
✓ That’s what we do.
We template, fabricate, and install slab shower walls ourselves. Your contractor handles the job site prep before we arrive. The same team from template to install.
"Is it worth it?"
✓ Quote it and compare.
Slab walls can run more than tile, but material and complexity decide by how much. Get a customized quote with your material choice and compare.

We Handle Everything
Enjoy Your New Slab Shower Walls
Porcelain
Thin and light to get upstairs, with a marble look or almost any look for less. One of the best picks for a slab shower.
Quartz
Non-porous, so water never gets in and it never needs sealing. Wipes clean, with a huge selection of colors for a bathroom.
Marble
The homeowner who wants marble accepts nothing else. A wall is gentler on it than a counter, and we'll walk you through the care.
Quartzite
Marble look with bold colors, and it handles water well. Thin slabs are rare here, so we plan for the weight.
Granite
Bold colors and a tough surface, and we've put it in showers. Same weight story as quartzite, so we plan for it.
Soapstone
Soft, warm, matte, never needs sealing. Uncommon in a bathroom, but if it's the look you want, it's doable. Same weight story as granite.
Not sure yet? That's normal. Come in and we'll narrow it down together.

Timing
It's Never Too Early to Reserve Your Slab
A slab shower sits at the end of the bathroom, not the start. We install after your contractor's waterproofing and framing are done, and nothing else finishes until the panels are up. Reserve your slab early, though: the piece you fell for is one of a kind and won't wait for your schedule.

Pricing
How Much Do Slab Shower Walls Cost?
Pricing matters. It's the first question everybody asks, and we get it.
But there's no price list in this business. Two suppliers can charge different prices for the same slab, and the work you want done changes the rest of it.
About 95% of slab shower walls fit between $55–150 per square foot installed. Exceptions like Blue Bahia granite, Blue Macaubas and Cristallo quartzites, the Calacatta and Statuario Italian marble families, and Onyx are always more expensive.
But it's not just about material. Here's what else affects your price:
- Sourcing: From our in-stock inventory, you pay a set price per square foot for just the footage you use. If we bring a slab in for you from one of our suppliers, it comes as a full slab, since the industry only sells them whole. Different suppliers price the same slab differently, and we keep remnants for smaller jobs.
- Project size: Bigger projects cost more than smaller ones, but often get better per-square-foot pricing.
- Complexity: Shower walls mean cutouts for valves, niches, and benches, plus curb and threshold pieces. Book-matching veining across walls adds cutting time too.
- Waste: Slabs come in set sizes, and matching the veining from piece to piece across a shower means more of the slab goes unused. We lay out every cut digitally to get the most usable material out of each one. The pattern still decides how much we can save, beautiful, but it comes at a cost.
Supply and Demand: Desirability drives price. What's trendy costs more, what's out of fashion costs less. Rare blues are expensive because they're naturally rare. Italian marbles are expensive because of high demand and limited supply.
Comparing Quotes?
The service itself, templating, fabrication, edges, and install, runs about $30 to 50 per square foot and is pretty consistent across the industry. The big difference between quotes is almost always the material.
Watch for two things. An unclear quote where any change becomes an extra, and a "free edge" promo, that cost is just built in somewhere else. A cheaper quote usually means a different material or brand, not a better deal.
Our quotes spell it out line by line: templating, fabrication, edges, cutouts, and installation. You see exactly what you're paying for.
So How Do You Budget?
Don't shop by material name. Shop by color and look. Come to our warehouse in Southborough, see, touch, and feel your options, and choose what fits your budget.

Maintenance
Living With Your New Slab Shower Walls
Sealing depends on the material. Quartz and porcelain never need it. Granite, quartzite, and marble do, but not on a calendar: if water beads, you're fine. When it soaks in and darkens, it's time to reseal.
