Do you install granite, or just fabricate it?
Both, all in-house. We template, fabricate, and install with our own crew.
Can I buy a granite slab without fabrication?
No. We sell granite as a finished, fabricated and installed countertop, not as a raw slab. It's the only way we can stand behind the result.
Do you serve my town?
Mainly MetroWest and Greater Boston, and we're willing to go anywhere in New England for the right job.
Is granite a good choice for kitchen countertops?
It's one of the best. Granite resists heat, scratches, and daily wear, and we still see installs from the 1990s holding up perfectly.
Does granite need to be sealed?
Yes, granite is porous, so it needs periodic sealing. The stone tells you when: drip water on it, and if it soaks in and darkens instead of beading, it's time.
Does granite come in white?
No. True solid white is really a marble thing, but granite comes in beautiful whitish tones like Colonial White and River White.
Can I put hot pans on granite?
Granite is naturally heat resistant and won't scorch. We still recommend trivets as a good habit.
Can granite be used outdoors?
Yes. Granite's durability and UV resistance make it a great choice for outdoor kitchens, bars, and other exterior work.
How does granite compare to marble?
Granite is harder and resists etching and staining, so it wins in a busy kitchen. The look differs too: granite reads bolder, marble softer and more refined.
What's the difference between granite and engineered quartz?
Quartz is man-made and lower-maintenance, but heat can damage it. Granite is natural, one-of-a-kind, and handles heat, fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens.
Is Taj Mahal or Fantasy Brown a granite?

Is granite more expensive than other materials?
Not usually. Every material has cheaper and pricier options, but most granite colors land in the low-to-middle range.
Can I get granite in a honed or leathered finish?
Yes. Beyond polished, we offer honed and leathered finishes, for a softer, matte look that hides prints on darker colors.
