Here at Granite Guy, our goal is to make the process of countertop installation as easy as possible for home owners. After all, no one wants to be displaced for very long, especially when it involves the kitchen or bathroom! Our granite installers in Dedham MA take a careful and detailed approach to every job we do, all while recognizing that time is of the essence.
The result is a timely yet efficient installation job that gets you back to your regular routine quickly. Today we will go over our process.
#1: Get Your Free Estimate
We need certain information in order to know exactly what you want and give you an accurate price. That starts with a phone call to us for a free estimate, which will not only give you a better idea of pricing so you can begin budgeting, but it will also give us an idea of what you need from us.
It’s our preference to provide in-person estimates, and there is a very good reason for this: a higher level of accuracy. Our technicians will visit your home, take detailed measurements, ask questions, talk about your vision, and discuss budget. We will then develop a quote based on the information you give us.
#2: Choose Your Stone
Whether you prefer the more popular granite or the more elegant marble, we can connect you with the perfect stone. Our expert fabricators and installers in Framingham are skilled in all types of natural and engineered stone, such as:
- Granite
- Limestone
- Marble
- Onyx
- Travertine
- Soapstone
- Quartz
- Quartzite
The stone you select will depend on your budget, the style of the room in question, and your maintenance preferences. We would be happy to discuss the pros and cons of each and help you come to an informed decision.
#3: Schedule Templating
Once you have selected your stone and color, the templating process can begin. This involves the use of state-of-the-art technology that will accurately measure your countertop space to guarantee your cabinets and appliances will fit properly after installation. Templating is the best way to ensure the highest level of accuracy during our installation job.
#4: Choose the Final Slab
Now that we have created the template, we will ask you to confirm the layout so installation can proceed. If you have chosen a stone with a varying pattern, you will be encouraged to visit our showroom and hand select the piece of the slab you wish to incorporate. Once satisfied, our fabrication machines will cut your stone to precise measurements.
It only takes us three days to cut, install, and seal your stone countertops, so you can enjoy your new kitchen or bath in no time!
